My organisation is retiring SCCM and we are moving to SN's ACC agent with MS Intune providing the package install and uninstall.
As part of this piece of work the SAMP team have been asked what data we want. We have said Software, inventory, hardware config and metering with Intune providing the package install and uninstall.
Is there anything else that the agent can provide for SAMP or specific config settings specific for SAMP? We do not know the capabilities of the agent so need some guidance. e.g. can it tell SAMP who was using the software, can it query text files or the registry? Basically all those pieces of information outside of the core information.
Thanks

Hi @andynewey,
the ITAM product success team from ServiceNow published an article on that topic, which includes some step by step video guides as well.
Hope this helps!

Thanks fnell but that article only covers setting up and using metering. I am interested in configuring the AAC agent.

Hi @andynewey,
It's the SAM fraction and the only reason to use the ACC in this context. It seems like you're more interested in the general discovery topics, right?
For Intune, you can also use the corresponding Service Graph Connector; you wouldn’t need to buy additional SKUs for ACC. Provisioning is actually done with CSD 2.0.
Hope this helps!
