What is the best way to get All Adobe Products Usage Data in ServiceNow?
Should we use directly integrating with the Adobe Admin Console OR use Adobe Publisher Pack? what is the best way?
How can we bring Installed Adobe Products usage data or device installation details in ServiceNow? Can this be achieved by Adobe Admin Console or Adobe Publisher pack OR do we need to have SCCM/Tanium integration with ServiceNow? Will Discovery work standalone for this?

Hi @CA5,
- Adobe Publisher pack is a prerequisite
- Adobe SaaS Integration via Adobe Portal is required to get SaaS (User Subscription details and SaaS usage)
- Inventory technology with software usage metering (ACC-V, SCCM, Tanium) is required to get software installation records and usage data
- ServiceNow Discovery (Agent less) does not support usage metering.
Best, Dennis

Thank you for the reply and help!
What are you referring here with Inventory Technology?
After installing Adobe Publisher pack and integrating with Adobe Portal, will this be creating Adobe S/W models for their products? What will happen to already manually created S/W models prior to this setup?

Hi @CA5,
Inventory Technologies I’m referring to ACC-V, SCCM or Tanium.
Yes, the SaaS integration will auto-create all required software model for the imported products.
For each subscription identifier SAMP manages a link to a DMAP to create the Software model. If a software model already exists and the attributes matching, no new model will be created and the subscription consumption is link with the existing one.
hope this helps. Best, Dennis

Thank you for the reply and help!
Does it require any configuration setup to do at ServiceNow? I mean how we pull data from Tanium about software usage?
In which table, this data get stored in ServiceNow? IS this table common for SaaS and Installed application or would be diff usage tables?
