Case State is automatically changing

Issue observed with snow ageing data. Tickets are not active as it were closed. but the status somehow has changed back to awaiting info or Open. Can someone help me with this?

Assuming you mean ServiceNow and not Snow (completely different software): you will have to provide more information on that.
It sounds like something customized. Is the status the only thing? What user did this? What else changed? What do the logs say? Is it through integration? Can the state just be changed, even if the record is inactive?

Only the state is getting changed and yes it is the servicenow related.
