Hi,
Can Chassis be a CI? Our Asset Management team wants to track the Chassis as well
But I would like to understand if Chassis can be part of any IPC process?
Will there be any impact from Chassis for business Delivery.
Correct me, Chassis information will be captured only for Physical Devices right?

I Would like to still understand, will Chassis can be considered under the IPC (Incident, Problem, Change) process?
What would be best Option out this two
1) Updating them only for Asset Record purpose
2) Updating it as CI and also tracking the asset record for it.

The questions you are asking are for your organization to decide.
Here is my personal thoughts:
- I would not expect an INC to be created with a Chassis, but the CI for resolution might be the chassis instead of the blade server
- Chassis should be part of CHG and PRB management
- A Chassis should be both an Asset and a CI, because it is part of the overall relationship that a server has to the datacenter environment.
