Custom column in Compliance/Software Entitlements

Hi SN community,

I was looking if it was possible to create a custom column for the compliance with SAM Foundation. I would like to manually enter the number of rights used for certain publisher and/or products that we can't import in SN. Is it possible to add a custom column for this use case ? I want an Active Rights (Manual) column.

Hi @npigeon,

I would recommend to use the "entitlement allcocation" feature in SAM Foundation.

Create a Software Asset Management Foundation plugin entitlement allocation in classic (servicenow.c...

We created an allocation dummy user/device and assigning the rights used to these. The column you need is "Allocations available" and will show you the available/left use rights.

Second Option: Create a custom field, but this won't be included into the reconciliation process

how would you go for the 2nd option with a custom field ? I am looking at this because for the first option we can't go over the rights owned, unless we can bypass it ?
