My customer wants to utilize this scheduled job: SAM - Deduplicate Install Table to deal with duplicates on the cmdb_sam_sw_install table. My question and task is to identify what this will do.
The documentation does not detail what "Resolve" means.
Does that mean remove the duplicate records? Create a task for someone to remove the record? Set the record so it is never discovered again?
The duplicate records I am seeing were all create the exact same time, and appear to be actual duplicates.

Can you please provide me a link to the documentation that details (if there is any) what this actually does? and the definition of Resolve?
