Hello Everyone,
In the alm_license table, under the General tab, I noticed the fields Assigned To, Managed By, and Owned By. Additionally, there’s a User Entitlement tab that also contains an Assigned To field and a Location field.
Could someone please explain the difference between the Assigned To field in the General tab and the one in the User Entitlement tab?
The following are the screenshots.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Aravindk5919 ,
In the alm_license table used for managing license entitlements within the Asset Management module and User Entitlement -> Assigned to serve different purposes, primarily because they exist at different levels in the hierarchy of licensing.
- Assigned to (alm_license) is a direct one-to-one assignment to an individual. It Indicates the primary user of a specific license and it is typically used when the license is allocated to an individual, bypassing group-level entitlement management.
- User Entitlement (alm_entitlement -> Assigned to) is part of a licensing entitlement strategy where users can consume licenses indirectly through group/role-based rules.
