I understand apart from discovering installed software from Add or remove programs or through file based discovery, how can Servicenow's agent client collector discover installed software from Microsoft Store apps.
Additionally, we have noticed the agent doesn't discover embedded or child software or any software that are usually available with Windows Operating system. Is there any reason, ACC-V (agent client collector-visibility) does discover on purpose? I mean from SAM process point of view, are such software not supposed to hold any significance?
Regarding License keys, our previous tool Eracent used to discover licence keys associated to software, however, ACC-V discovery doesn't do it. Is there any custom solution to determine it. As per my understanding, Eracent used to get it from registry or through osquery. Our SAM stakeholders needs it to determine a software installed with unauthorized license key.
