Does SAM Pro support device assignments for Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (device)?

We are reviewing Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (device) in SAM Pro. E5 and E7 user subscriptions are imported successfully and show licenses required and usage information, but the device-based product shows purchased licenses with 0 assigned, 0 required, and 0 consumed.

The Microsoft 365 integration recognizes the SKU OFFICE_PROPLUS_DEVICE1, and Microsoft 365 Apps installations are discovered on Windows servers. However, no device assignment or consumption records are created for the device-based software model.

Can someone confirm whether SAM Pro supports importing Microsoft Entra group-to-device assignments for this SKU? If supported, what table or integration job should populate the assigned devices and calculate licenses required?

no, it's not supported by SAM Pro Direct Integrations as for now. We raised the same request with SN support and the answer by product management was "no, because the M365 integration is based on user subscriptions and does not support the processing of devices"

Still not sure if you can assign a device within the M365 portal?
