Hello All,
There is a field names 'Entitlement definition id' available in samp_sw_product_definition OOB table. Which is managing by ServiceNow only. I need to know what is the purpose of this field.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Shivani

Hey @Shivani ,
There's not a ton of documentation on this, but from my understanding, the 'Entitlement Definition ID' is the field used to house the ID that links that specific software back to the software content library. Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Josh

as far as i know, i have never seen any value populated for this field, Entitlement definition id. and i dont see any kind of Documentation available from Servicenow.
The important field in samp_sw_product_definition is Entitlement Defination, which maps the product with the Publisher part number.

'Entitlement definition id' is the unique id provided by Servicenow for each of its 'Entitlement definition' which comes OOB. you can verify this by going to samp_sw_product_definition table.
