Hi all,
I was given with 43k records via excel to load the entitlement data in servicenow sam pro module. i have doubt if we import through import entitlement the bulk data then is there any impact?or through system import set is preferred for bulk data? Please suggest.
One more query was in the excel sheet for few of the records the PPN is missing or esle the publisher, product, version and edition is missing. So as per my understanding it will stuck with error if model not found in servicenow. So some suggestions required on this to know how to solve this to avoid import entitlement error and the way to successfully import all the records. Please suggest.

Hi @suresh kaliappa ,
Best way to import entitlements is under "Entitlement import". Download template and fill and upload
Make sure either PPN is present for the entitlement or Publisher, Product, version and edition for successful import.
If any errors occur, select Review import errors to open the Entitlement Import Errors page
If I could help you with your Query then, please hit the Thumb Icon and mark as Correct !!
Thanks, GP

My question is the PPN or the model was not currently available in servicenow itself. How to bring these data to servicenow

Hi @suresh kaliappa,
if the PPN is not available the entitlement upload will help you to create this.
If the model is not available, due to missing PPN (no auto creation) you have to create the model manually to complete you upload process.
However, the question arises as to whether it is really necessary to include 43k entitlements in the system or whether only the active entitlements that are relevant for the compliance should be considered. Optionally, a last audit, TrueUp or a new contract should be used as an initial start for the entitlements to reduce the quantity
Best, Dennis
