How should CMDB Success Advisor be promoted from DEV to PROD without PROD admin access?

I am enabling CMDB Success Advisor version 3.0.1 in DEV. 

I do not have the admin role or permission to install applications in PROD. What is the recommended method to move this implementation from DEV to TEST and PROD?

My questions are:

  • Install separately in DEV, TEST, and PROD through Application Manager?
  • Have a PROD administrator perform the production installation?
  • Use an update set only for any custom configuration, not for the Store applicatio

you already answered all your questions by yourself.

 

  • Install separately in DEV, TEST, and PROD through Application Manager? -> YES
  • Have a PROD administrator perform the production installation? -> YES
  • Use an update set only for any custom configuration, not for the Store application -> YES
