How to restrict software

Hi, looking for the way to blacklist software to make it a restricted application. Gone into the Software model expecting to see the Blacklisted tick box under the Certified tick box, but it is not there.  I have checked multiple software models and its not showing.

 

What would cause this to not show?

Hi @Bugner,

 

looks like the field not added to your current layout. Go to the ServiceNow "Additional actions" (Burger menu) -> Configure -> Form Design. Search for "Restricted software" in the left field's menu and add it below the "Certified" field. Save and reload the form.

Hi,

just starting with SAM, but have to implement it for a customer.

Looking for a way to restrict Software not in general, but but for certain countries, like SoftwareXYZ is only allowed in Germany and Software123 only in France.
