We are in the process of integrating Workday with ServiceNow SAM Pro. After we created the integration profile in Software Asset Workspace, I saw that a tab called FSE Worker Calculation got automatically created. That tab contains the FSE percentages for different worker types. We also did a bit of research and found out that there is a Script Include which is doing the FSE calculations automatically during reconciliation and compliance calculations. But what will be the license metric to be selected in the entitlement form, that part is not very clear to me. I have the following questions -
- Does Workday have any OOTB license metric which needs to be used ?
- Do we need to create a custom license metric for Workday ? If yes, what is the role of the custom license metric ? Does it act only as a tag/label, since the actual FSE calculation is already done by the script includes ?
Please provide the answers to the above questions along with any other additional information which you think might be helpful for Workday compliance reporting. Thanks in advance.
