Link multiple entitlements to one software model.

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement wherein I need to link multiple entitlements to one software model automatically. I have enabled "Automatically create software models for all 'licensable' products" and "Automatically create software models for all 'not licensable' products" property. Is there anything still missing? How can I test it if multiple entitlements are getting linked to one software model?

Regards,

Kajol

Hi @KajolM,

please check the software model reference field for each of your entitlements to verify the link to the same software model.

By default, for each entitlement on boarded with the help of a PPN, it will be linked to the same software model (managed by the SAM Pro content DB). If no PPN is available, you've to create the software model first and select it manually during the entitlement process.

Hello kajol,

You should be able attach multiple entitlement with a same software model. Did you try uploading multiple entitlement with a same PPN number and checked? Or how are you uploading the entitlements its via excel template provided Out of the box or manual creation?

Thanks!

Hi Subham,

I created two entitlements manually, how can I check if those 2 entitlements are linked to a same software model automatically?
