No CI associated to Asset created

CI field is blank for asset records. Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

Hi Perna,

Here are three possible reasons why the CI was not created.

1. The Computer model category doesn't have a CI Class identified. Validate the computer model category record reflects the cmdb_ci_computer CI Class.

2. The "Create CI on Insert" business rule has been disabled. Validate the business rule is 'active'.

3. Run business rules is disabled during execution of an Import Set. If you are importing assets via an Import Set, make sure that Run Business Rules is enabled.
