Oracle - Siebel ELP

Hello!

 

Just wondering if anyone has turned on the Oracle publisher pack and has been successful with their ELP? I looks like Siebel is not part of it, so is anyone else managing these licensing within SAMPro?

Hi @_vee_vee_,

 

indeed, the Oracle publisher pack is build with a strong focus on Oracle DB & middlware compliance including addional plugins e.g., Oracle GLAS to get all required details about your Oracle DB infrastructure.

 

From a product and ppn view Siebel is supported by SAMP based on the content DB

  • 315 Oracle Siebel products
  • 2000 PPNs for Oracle Siebel products

The supported metric for these PPNs are:

The empty one often looks like products with e.g., transaction metrics and these kind of metrics can't be managed OOTB with SAMP for any other publisher, too. In such a case you've to provide an external source to import the data via import set, build your own integration/API or update the data manually.

 

Give it a try, start your entitlement on-boarding and discovery model normalization to have a good baseline for your first ELP. In case of any questions please reach out to the community.
