Hi @shreyaadh09
to activate SAM Pro on a PDI, you usually need to do it from the Developer site rather than directly inside the instance.
Sign in to developer.servicenow.com, go to your profile or instance management section, and click on 'Activate Plugin'. Search for 'Software Asset Management' and select the 'Software Asset Management Professional' option. You can choose to activate it with or without demo data, though demo data is highly recommended when practicing.

Hi @shreyaadh09
- Go to developer.servicenow.com
- Click on Manage my instance button on top right
Search by Software Asset Management and and Activate "Software Asset Management Professional plugins"

Hi @shreyaadh09
Can you check whether that plugin has been installed in your instance from Plugin list.
Few community members reported ,even after getting Activation failure message , it has been installed in there PDI and once they Repair it, it started to work.
