Safest way to clean up and re-import SAP data after updating SAP Connection configuration

Hi all,

We have configured the SAP integration between ServiceNow SAM and our SAP system, and the SAP data has already been successfully imported into ServiceNow.

We now have a requirement to update some fields on the SAP Connection record, specifically the Default Price List.

I would like to understand the recommended approach after making this change:

1. Do we need to clean up the existing SAP data in ServiceNow before pulling the data from SAP again?
2. Or can we simply update the SAP Connection configuration and re-run the SAP data import/reconciliation?
3. If cleanup is required, is there an out-of-the-box approach provided by ServiceNow?
4. If there is no OOB cleanup option, what would be the safest recommended approach to remove/reset the existing SAP data without causing data integrity issues?

We would especially like to avoid manually deleting records if those records have relationships or dependencies within SAM.

Any guidance or experience with this scenario would be greatly appreciated.
