Hi everyone, we are starting to use SAM and have some questions about the best practices for software bought from third parties.
We are adding business applications to ServiceNow and we want the vendor, manufacturer, publisher, and company information added correctly, but much of the software we buy is through third-party services like CDW. For example, we purchase Adobe through CDW, so we get the vendor information of CDW, but not the manufacturer, publisher, and company information.
What's the best practice for representing the vendor, manufacturer, publisher, and company information on business applications?
We don't currently have ServiceNow Discovery in our organization so we are using integrations pulling from our enterprise systems to get this information.
