Curious for folks implementing the SAM Integration with Adobe Cloud - do you have an Adobe Sandbox/Dev 'instance' to connect to for testing the integration in a lower instance (such as Dev) before connecting to production data?

Hi @k_whelan
For integrations, the general best practice is to connect non-production ServiceNow instances to non-production endpoints and production instances to production endpoints. This helps ensure proper testing, data segregation, and minimizes the risk of impacting live systems.
However, there can be exceptions depending on the nature of the integration. For SAM Pro integrations, where ServiceNow is only retrieving data from the third-party system and not making any updates, the risk of altering production data (at 3rd party end) is minimal.
In my experience working on integrations with several software publishers, many provided only a single endpoint for Software usage and entitlement data retrieval.
In such cases, we connected and tested using that endpoint, even from non-production environments, because the integration was read-only and did not modify any data in the third-party system.
