SAM Pro - SolarWinds SKU

Hi team,

I am trying to load SolarWinds SKU including Syslog Server and Performance Analyzer. I found the results in Discovery models but not getting any results after Reconciliation?

Anyone has suggestion, how can I fix this publisher?

Hi @FeniP ,

The short answer: Reconciliation only works on normalized software installs. If your SolarWinds records aren't normalized, they'll show up in Discovery models but get silently skipped during reconciliation.

Check your install normalization state:

Go to cmdb_sam_sw_install and filter for SolarWinds records. Look at the Normalized Publisher and Normalized Product fields. If these are blank or showing raw discovered strings like "SolarWinds, Inc." or "SolarWinds Worldwide LLC", your normalization rules aren't matching.

Reconciliation requires a clean normalization chain: Discovered Install → Normalized Product → Software Model → Entitlement. Any break in that chain (usually at publisher alias or missing product normalization) means the install never gets picked up, even though it's visible in Discovery models.

SolarWinds specifically tends to need manual normalization rules for sub-products like Syslog Server and Performance Analyzer -  the Content Library might not always carry these out of the box.
