SAM – Visio Plan 2 subscriptions not generating User Allocations / Reclamation Candidates

We are testing SAM reclamation for Microsoft Visio Online Plan 2 (VISIOCLIENT) in DEV/PRD.

Findings:
- Visio Plan 2 subscriptions are ingested via the Microsoft 365 Integration Profile and appear in samp_sw_subscription with subscription_identifier = VISIOCLIENT and user_principal_name populated.
- last_activity is updating for some users (e.g., UserTest shows last_activity = 2026-04-07), so the integration/job pipeline is running.
- However, across all Microsoft Visio Online Plan 2 software entitlements, the User Allocations related list is empty (0 records).
- As a result, Visio does not produce Reclamation Candidates in SAM (while Microsoft 365 E3/E5/F3 do show User Allocations and Reclamation Candidates normally).

Request:
Please confirm whether VISIOCLIENT (Visio Online Plan 2) is supported for user allocation generation in SAM. If supported, advise what configuration/mapping/job is required to generate User Allocations for Visio subscriptions so reclamation rules can evaluate the population. If not supported, please confirm the limitation so we proceed with external assessment + SNOW governance.

Hi @Edher619 ,

1. I can confirm that SaaS direct integrations does not create any user allocation for entitlements - this is per design.

2. Reclamation works per setup of the reclamation rules for SaaS integrations. Please review the following article and verify the setup. https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/it-asset-management/software-asset-management/reclamation-rules.ht...
rules are auto generated for each integration with a default value (not sure if 30 or 90 days)

3. As SAM scheduled job creates the candidates weekly. In your case, please trigger it manually for ad-hoc results

Best, Dennis
