Thursday
Hi Community,
We are using Tanium as a Discovery source for SAM Pro, but we noticed that the following fields remain blank in the Software Installation table (cmdb_sam_sw_install😞
- Last Used
- Assigned To
Is this expected behavior?
I’ve heard that SAM Pro may populate these fields during reconciliation, rather than Tanium doing it directly. Before I make that assumption, I’d like to confirm:
- Should Tanium populate these fields at all?
- If not, what process is responsible for populating them?
- Are there specific prerequisites or configurations required?
Any clarification from someone who has integrated Tanium with SAM Pro would be helpful.

Hi @TejaswiniP38926 ,
we had a similar case in a project and can confirm your finding - these two values are not part of the OOTB SG-Tanium integration.
what we did, we’ve enhanced the mapping with the following:
- Last Used —> „Last_Seen_At“ from Tanium per software install record
- Assigned user, please check the following https://www.servicenow.com/community/itom-forum/service-graph-connector-for-tanium-populating-the-la...

It seems it is expected behavior.
