I'm not quite sure how the Integration Profiles work. I understand that they connect an outside product to ServiceNow, but how does ServiceNow know which one to use?
I have SAM Pro and was able to successfully create a new OAuth profile, in addition to my existing JWT connection.
My questions are:
- Is anything tied to the profile name?
- Do I just delete the old JWT Integration Profile, or are their applications inside ServiceNow that I need to point to over to the new profile name before removing the old one?
- Can I temporarily have both profiles up at the same time to test the connection to the new one, and if so, how would I force the system to use a particular profile?

Hi @GXL2020,
the mapping is based on the imported subscription identifiers linked to software models (DMAP) based on the content library. I would suggest to disable the integration, instead of removing the old one until all tests are done.
All created software models are retained; only the linked user subscriptions are deleted and re-imported through the new connection. SN recommends that the JWT profile be deleted.
Best, Dennis

Dennis,
Thanks for the information.
You mention that I should disable the integration. I tried to do that before I posted this question, but could not find a way to disable it.
I created it through Software Asset Workspace->Licensing Operations->User subscription->Direct Integration Profiles. When I look there, I do not see an option to disable the old integration.
I also went to samp_sw_subscription_profile and attempted to find a way to disable it there as well, but am not seeing an option to disable it here either.
How do I disable the old profile?
Regarding switching over once my testing is complete. Are you saying that once I delete the old profile, that the system will find and connect to the new one?
Thanks,
George
