What is purpose of Allocated tab in hardware table?

I want to know the Purpose if Allocation tab in alm_hardware.list table? and how data will populate?

The Allocations Tab reflects software that is allocated to the device.  Software is allocated by adding a Device Allocation record on a Software Entitlement where the License Metric is Per Device.

Hi folks,

 

I was reviewing the posts and came across this one.

 

Is there anything similar for hardware assets that shows allocation to a user?

 

Currently, when an asset is assigned to a user, it is directly allocated. However, we would like the user to acknowledge receipt, and once approved, have the asset record reflect the exact date the user accepted it.

Is there anything OOTB available for this?
