Conversion of attachment file to .eml

Hi all,

 We have requirement to convert attachment file extension to .eml before creation of ticket from catalog item.

Kindly advise if anyone has come across such  requirement where attachment file extension was changed in process. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

This is pretty standard for security operations. You'd need to convert that to .eml before bringing in to ServiceNow. 

If you don't have a virus scanning type application already (i.e. Zix) that helps with this conversion process, you would have to instruct users to convert it themselves.
