PDF exported via Email from a report

HI,

 

I'm facing issue with export of pdf in reports , when I'm exporting from Report List "Right click" export -> pdf -> Landscape

it is sending mail of pdf attachment but fields and and column's available in that pdf are not the fields available in report

it is giving default view fields in that pdf

could you please help me with the same

 

Note: it is happening only with pdf extract via mail

I did some testing. When you export a report and it has to be mailed. Rather then using the columns in the report it appears to use the columns of that users list view for the table the report is on. I'm not sure if there is a way to change this behavior.

 

Example I created a report of all catalog items and removed quantity from the columns. When I exported it and had it mail it quantity was still showing. I looks at my list view of sc_req_item table and I had quantity list. So I removed it and retested from the report and quantity did no show. 

 

This may be something you could put in as an enhancement request via the idea portal. Or maybe open a case and see if there is a way to change the behavior and if not maybe the will create a problem.
