Hi,
I am a Solutions Architect who has worked on federal modernization projects for 10+ years, and I have worked with Cybersecurity on the Application layer. I have the Risk and Compliance and Data Foundation CIS certifications, and I am taking the CIS Discovery training. I also have two SANS GIAC certifications, GSEC and GCWN. I am asking for advice: which SecOps CIS fits in the best with my background?
Thanks,
V/r
Amy

Hi amauldon,
I will recommend you to do
1.Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Incident Response (CIS-SIR) then
2.Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR)

Hi @amauldon
You really want to do both. The Risk and Security space within ServiceNow is a great place to be in 2026, with the Armis acquisition (SN's biggest buy ever) signaling a strong intention that they're focused on that market.
Check out their Unified Security Exposure Management play.
Also, get to know AI Control Tower, another important component of their risk & security play.
