Issues with Catalog item permission

I created catalog item with limited permission available for specific groups. But the catalog item is searchable and available for all users. Zurich version instance.

If you don't want users to search then set this "No search" checkbox and they won't be able to search
Users who wish to see can navigate to the correct catalog, category and then they can see it

If even after applying user criteria other members are able to search then I believe this is not feasible to implement

To make a catalog item searchable and accessible only for a specific group , you should use User Criteria to manage visibility.
- Create a User Criteria Record:
- Navigate to Service Catalog > Catalog Definitions > User Criteria.
- Create a new criteria and, in the Group field, select the specific group that should be able to search for and access the item.
- Apply Criteria to the Catalog Item:
- Navigate to Service Catalog > Maintain Items and open your specific catalog item.
- Scroll down to the Available For related list, click Edit, and add the user criteria you created.
To make sure it is searchable in the Service Portal, navigate to Service Catalog > Maintain Items and ensure the Visible Elsewhere field is set to True for that item. //KB0745338 How to make catalog items searchable in Service Portal
