Service Portal UI Policy 'Clear Value' action hides dropdown options in EN

Hello everyone,
We're experiencing a peculiar issue with a multi-country portal where a UI Policy is clearing variables but also causing unexpected behavior.
The Problem:
We've configured a UI Policy with a Clear Value action to remove certain variables when a user selects a specific answer.
The variable is indeed cleared, but the other options in the dropdown disappear, leaving only --None-- visible.
The only way then, to see again the other choices is for the user to manually delete the --None-- text. (see attached screenshot)
This issue seems to be specific to the English (EN) language.
When using other languages, the UI Policy works as expected and the dropdown options remain visible after the variable is cleared.
Technical details
Portal: Multi-country Service Portal
Action: UI Policy, Action: Clear Value
Expected Behavior: The variable is cleared, --None-- is setup as choice, setting up again the variable as "mandatory", and the other options in the dropdown list are still available to be selected.
Actual Behavior (EN Language): The variable is cleared, a "--none--" text is setup as selected value, and all the other options are disappeared.
Has anyone encountered this issue or have any insight into what could be causing this language-specific behavior?
