***Posting this so that others don't have to experience this:
Issue #1: The documentation isn't correct on the value that needs to be entered initially when configuring the key rotation. It states "Key rotation date. Set the value to the required key rotation date for the first run. For subsequent runs, this field is automatically set to the rotation date. This field is available only when you select the AWS Rotate Keys check box."
Solution: Enter in the date the keys were created, not when the keys need to be rotated for the first time.
Issue #2: When configuring the key rotation setup in the AWS SGC via the SGC Central UI, the rotation date does not save (the other values do) even though the banner clearly states that the AWS properties was successfully saved
Solution: Navigate to ALL> AWS > Connections > Open connection record > Select connection properties related list > manually enter the date
