I've made the connection to InTune using the service graph connector to import my handheld computing devices. Once the devices are imported, the transform updates the device names to the mac address + the model number. It's actually taking the device name and making it the short description. I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the RTE, but I cannot find where to fix this.
Any ideas?

Hi @RacheleTashjian
Please check the RTE Field mapping under the RTE Entity Mapping record:"tempToHandheld Computing Device 1".
RTE Entity Multiple Input Script Operation:
Link: https://{instance-id}.service-now.com/sys_rte_eb_multi_in_script_operation.do?sys_id=1875d75343a11210a7cbf1d15bb8f2cf&sysparm_view=&sysparm_record_target=sys_rte_eb_operation&sysparm_record_row=1&sysparm_record_list=target_sys_rte_eb_field.nameSTARTSWITHcleansed_device_name2%5EORDERBYorder&sysparm_record_rows=1
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Siva

Hello , @RacheleTashjian
Here's what I did. I didn't swap the target fields like @J Siva showed (which I probably should have done).
I went into the Temp Entity and modified these two RTE Entity Operations - 'Multiple Input Script - cleansed_macaddress,u_model_name,CleansedSerialNumber2,u_devicename,u_id' & 'Multiple Input Script - cleansed_macaddress,u_model_name,cleansed_systemserialnumber,u_devicename'
I changed the cleansed_device_name to the format we wanted " Serial # - Model name"
Be careful and have a back up ready of what you change. because if you update the plugin, the record will revert back to OOTB
