Has anybody integrated ServiceNow with Service Graph Connector for BlueCat or without it?
What was the approach and any related documentation that can be shared would really help.
There is not much data available for this integration.

Hey @Ashutosh Mishra,
There are really two separate paths here, worth being clear on which one you're actually evaluating before you pick documentation to chase.
- Service Graph Connector for BlueCat: this is the official one on the ServiceNow Store, it pulls IP and network data from BlueCat straight into the CMDB for use in incident, change, and service mapping.
- SGC Central compatibility: it's built on the Common Connector Framework, so it shows up in SGC Central for install, config, and connection health monitoring instead of being a standalone scoped app you babysit separately.
- Subnetwork filtering and tags: you can scope the import to selected networks only and pull BlueCat tags across, so you're not dumping every subnet BlueCat knows about into your CMDB on day one.
- CI classes: expect data to land in cmdb_ci_ip_address and cmdb_ci_ip_network, the same pattern the Infoblox connector uses since both are DDI sources.
- Without the connector: BlueCat also ships its own ServiceNow CMDB plugin that talks to a BlueCat Gateway URL you configure under BlueCat CMDB > Configurations > Admin Settings, that's a separate integration path, not IntegrationHub based.
Honestly the connector's own public docs are thin, you're not missing something. BlueCat publishes a more detailed "ServiceNow BlueCat CMDB Application Configuration Guide" on their own docs site, that's the better read for the gateway plugin route specifically.
Happy to go deeper if you tell me which path you're leaning toward and what version of BlueCat Gateway you're on.
Thank you,

Stored app : Service Graph Connector for BlueCat application is available in the ServiceNow Store, you can leverage it in Flow Designer by using the spoke actions provided by the application.
Service Graph Connector for Bluecat empowers use cases of IP Asset Management and therefore IT Operations Management.
The connector pulls the following classes into ServiceNow CMDB:
- IP Pool
- IP Network Subnet
- Managed Network
- Allocated IP Address
It supports:
Notification Support
Creates a task in the IP Address Management Task table and assigns it to the preferred user group when a network is inserted or deleted from the CMDB CI IP Network Subnet table, based on the user-defined action preference (insertion/deletion).
Subnetwork Filtering
Supports selective subnetwork filtering, allowing IP address data to be imported only from chosen networks. These subnetworks can be configured through the custom table SG-BlueCat Detailed Network Subnet.
Lifecycle Management
Implements lifecycle management using soft deletion to retire CI records that are no longer present in the source platform or are excluded by the applied filters.

Thanks for your response. The concern here is that the Service Graph connector is under Innovation Labs and is not a certified app yet that can be used for standard integration in production instance.

As per my knowledge , Individual connectors are published and certified on the ServiceNow Store by ServiceNow or certified partners.
That way, Service Graph Connectors are certified, built-in integrations designed to cleanly ingest and reconcile third-party data into the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
