SG- Solarwinds - ICMP devices

Hello, I am looking for recommendations. We have configured the service graph connector for Solarwinds as a discovery source. However, a very large portion of our devices in SolarWinds are configured with simple ICMP polling (essentially to trigger an alert if the system goes down). As a result, we are finding CIs are being created with very little information, simply, IP address and hostname. I don't have any other relevant data. Aside from configuring IP-based discovery or adding an agent to these devices, which would populate serial number, operating system, etc. What would be the suggestion on how to prevent these CIs from being created?

We also have it setup and really try to have ServiceNow discovery as the main discovery source... but if you can't discover using it, I would rather have a CI with a little info from SW then no CI at all.

Anway, in CI Class Manager you can modify the rules to not create for this source if desired.

Yes the only issue, is if the CI gets created and placed in the server class with just an IP address and Hostname, this is counting against our license.
