Disabling basic auth in ServiceNow?

I have a security control requiring that I disable basic authentication in ServiceNow. However after research I don't think servicenow uses basic auth for logging in, it's just optional for webservices.

My question is, is it possible to disable basic authentication sitewide for SN and what sort of implications would that have?

Well, if you cant disable it from ServiceNow. Just remove or disable it from the select box or drop-down menu.
