do deactivated accounts count as licenses?

Hi folks,

I need to deactivate an account user that has many roles such as admin, security_admin.....

Once deactivated, does it still count as a license? Do I need to remove all the roles to make sure it won't be counted as a license?

By the way, how to figure out, if a role belongs to "fulfiller", "approver"? I guess "admin" role belongs to fulfiller. Is there a list available on that matter?

Best regards,

Denis.

Hi Denis,

Short answer - no deactivated users do not count against license counts.

If you have questions about fulfiller, approver, admin licenses, etc. reach out to your ServiceNow sales rep. They have all the information. I don't want to post anything in here as the licenses have changed in the past and may change again so someone looking in 5 years may consider obsolete information to be the source of truth.
