Incident Impact and Urgency

Hi All,

 

Should I modify the labels for Impact and Urgency within the Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) settings, or should I create new ones?

Hi @Sandhya23 ,

My suggestion would be NOT to modify the OOB field.
Instead, you can try creating Labels for your specific requirement. Or add the text to 'Hint' of the label to educate users.

Hi @Sandhya23 ,

 

Please do not modify the OOB and they are created on task table and many other tables are also exteding this table so it will impact on other one. Suppose you want to modify in Incident table then you simply create new one configure as per your requirement and can make changes in data look up and you can hide the OOB Impact & Urgency and new created can be configured by slush bucket.

Hi @Sandhya23,

As @Jitendra Diwak1  they are created on task table and multiple tables are extended from task table so please don't change them instead of you can create new choices for Impact and Urgency. This will work for you
