Is the "Type" field in sc_cat_item OOTB in ServiceNow?

Hi everyone,

I would like to confirm whether the "Type" field in the sc_cat_item table containing the values (Item, Task, Bundle, Template, and Package) is an OOTB field in ServiceNow.

In our instance, it always defaults to "Item", even though multiple choices are available.

Has anyone encountered this behavior before? Could this be due to a customization or standard configuration?

yes the default value in dictionary is item for this field in my PDI

So this is OOTB behavior
