Issue with Change Request Triggering Incident upon Meeting Response

Hello!

Has anyone encountered this issue and found a solution?

When setting the requested by date, planned start date, and planned end date in a change request, a meeting invite is automatically sent. If the recipient accepts or rejects the meeting, ServiceNow creates an incident based on their response.

Thank you, James

@joconnor

The meeting invites are sent through the notifications "Notify Change Calendar" and "Notify Change Calendar Remove".

Could you please check the inbound action "Update Change" if it is active?

Check the received inbound emails and see the inbound actions which have been processed for your email reply.

If "Update Change" gets captured, you can try checking the "Stop processing" checkbox on your inbound action so that no further action is processed.
