I was reviewing this thread to figure out how to change our Order Now option to Submit:
However - I don't see the tab for portal settings on our catalog items at all, nor can I find any documentation on how to make it visible.
Can anyone help me with this?

As you are in Madrid, There is one field ISOLATED SCRIPT on client script> Make sure that you MAKE IT FALSE/UNCHECK.
I Guess you need to configure a form and then need to add a isolated field on client script form.
Thanks,
Abhishek

Hey! I was finally able to figure it out (why I couldn't see the checkbox you put or the other items). I was able to go to Configure > Form Design and bring in a bunch of hidden fields I didn't know existed and got everything sorted out.
Thanks for your help - I'm new to having SN admin rights so I'm learning a lot 🙂

Can you mark a correct answer ?
If I have answered your question, please mark my response as correct so that others with the same question in the future can find it quickly and that it gets removed from the Unanswered list.
Thank you, Abhishek

I am also not seeing the Portal Settings tab in the catalog item default view. I have tried switching to other views and turning off the isolate script option, but nothing works.
Has anyone found a solution to this?

Hi Colleen,
We also recently had the same issue as yourself after upgrading to Madrid, I tried the suggestions in this thread to no avail. I ended up manually adding the missing fields in within the Form Designer (Configure > Form Design). I used this article to get a list of the out-of-box fields to determine what needed adding in.
Although not an ideal solution it only takes a few minutes 🙂
