I have enabled CI verification on one of the model categories and trying to merge some duplicate CIs. Some has related lists of change requests, incidents etc. to them. One of the CI (say A) is attached to an asset. If I am trying to merge the CI( say B) with CI A then following below observation -
- All related change and incidents related to B are disappeared and only A’s related list are retained
- Replace Manufacturer and Install status of B with that of A .. other information are retained in A as it is .
Is this the expected behaviour? Also, Is there any other way to retain the related list records of both the CIs.

Hi @ramya_mg
May I know, how you are merging the CI's? via automation or manual or which module?

Merging was done via the 'Merge CI' Ui action in the CI form.
