Previous Button Clears Variable Values on Return to "Describe Needs" Page in Order Guide

Hi everyone,
I’m seeing unexpected behavior when using an Order Guide in the portal and would appreciate any insights.
Steps to Reproduce:
Login to the Poral: https://<instance>.service-now.com/sp
Select any order guide.
Provide mandatory fields
Click Next to navigate to the Choose Options page
Click the Previous button
Expected Behavior:
All previously entered values on the "Describe Needs" page should persist when navigating back.
Actual Behavior:
All field values are reset when returning to the "Describe Needs" page.

check if there any catalog client script or catalog ui policies on the order guide which might be clearing those
