Related catalog items names are not visible to select from under a knowledge article

Hi, 

 

1. Navigate to any knowledge article and click 'Edit' button under the 'Related catalog items' related list.
Expected result - Catalog items available to select from under the slush bucket.
Actual result - Names of the catalog items are not visible therefore unable to select correct items from the slush bucket.

So what should I check for exactly? what might be the primary reason for empty bucket .

It seems the above article is not relevant since the issue is with slush bucket. Slush bucket is showing empty , and it takes values from sc_cat_item table. I checked for ACL, client scripts but nothing seems suspicious.
