Unable to edit catalog item in service catalog

I couldn't edit catalog variable on the form ,as need to change the type of the variable.. What is the reason for this..Can anyone suggest me

Hi,

Can you check the catalog item is in published state. If yes , you should to move checkout ie, use edit catalog UI Builder and cancel the published state.
