Hi Reshma,
This is a common point of confusion with the Upgrade Preview.
The short answer is: You cannot "action" the code itself yet, but you can create Rules.
Since this is just a simulation (a "forecast"), the new code hasn't actually been installed on your instance, so you cannot click "Resolve" or "Merge" on a specific file like you would during a real upgrade.
However, you can take one very powerful action: You can use the list to create Upgrade Resolution Rules (Skip Rules).
How to do it:
Look at the Predicted list.
If you see a pattern (e.g., "I see 20 OOB Notifications that I customized, but I want to accept the ServiceNow version now"), you don't have to wait.
Create a Resolution Rule for those records to "Force Overwrite".
The Benefit: When the actual upgrade runs later, the system will look at your rule and handle those records automatically. It won't even show them in your "To-Do" list.
So, while you can't fix the code today, you can pre-program the decision so you don't have to click through them manually next week.
If this clarifies the difference between the Preview and the actual Upgrade, please mark it as Accepted Solution.
Best regards,
Brandão.
