Workspace does not display the choice hint within the incident Category dropdown

According to View choice list definitions  "Note: When field type is set to List (Glide List) the hint won't display."

It displays just fine in the 'platform' view, but not within the Workspace.  The attached screenshot provides and example of how it works.  The 'Application' sub-category has a hint, displayed in the outlined box.  This 'hint' does not display in the Workspace view.  The second screenshot shows this failure to display.

Has anyone been able to make the hint display in the Workspace view?

that's correct.

it's not supported in workspace.

I don't think any workaround is present for this.
