IFrames are a type of content block that is used to build a page in CMS. iFrames allow you to embed URLs on a page within a frame. You can embed external pages or render ServiceNow content with the content page. Most commonly, users utilize iFrames for forms created in the system to link to the page that the iframe lives in.
CMS allows you the power to customize and create almost whatever web property you want. But with great power comes great responsibility. Customizations can sometimes result in other things breaking or aspects of your iFrame CMS page not responding how you expect it to. Most often the easiest glitch to identify is when your iFrame struggles to resize. Here are a few solutions where the workaround is as easy as using the "expand to fit content" functionality.
Simple workarounds when your iFrame is not resizing properly:
Title | Article ID | Description |
---|---|---|
Expand to fit iFrame content is cut off, truncated or not expanding in CMS | KB0551771 | When selecting "expand to fit content" you may find content rendering within the iFrame gets cut off at the bottom or truncates. This article provides steps to help narrow down the root cause and a method of relief. |
