Add a message on login

Is it possible to add a message each time a User accesses ServiceNow?   I would like a message that alerts users to only use IE vs Chrome.   Any ideas?

See if that link in the previous comment will help.

Hi Lisa,

In my experience, recurring pop-up messages quickly get ignored and are just a nuisance to the end user. Are there any other options you can use to drive their behavior? Confirmation popups have been discussed in the same way. we actually had someone request 3 "are you sure?" popups. Servicenow addressed this by making the user type 'delete', which is a better solution. I'm not sure what the message is, so I don't can't suggest other options. We have used the terms and conditions Chuck referenced and that does work well. Automation is another route you should take if end users can't follow rules - the system does it for them!

oh, re-read your initial post and its an IE vs chrome thing. I'd go with the terms and conditions feature.

Lisa,

You could create a custom UI page with your Popup on it and a login rule to redirect.

Which I guess would also fall under Login terms and conditions as others have said. See Below.

Hey Brandon, I am in need of this exact solution.  However, the update set associated with the SN Guru no longer exists.  Do you have a way to get that update set or know of a solution to this.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
