Arrange favorites in folders?

Hi,

A question I'm getting more often is 'Can we arrange favorites in folders?". I was not able to find a solution, so I think it's not possible, but... anyone with an idea how to do this?

Hi Grerad,

I don't think it's possible to have favorites in folder, workaround is having Fav Icon common for those which you want in a Folder. This way it is easy to identify favorites of a particular type.

We approached this issue by setting up a KB article and allowing people to edit it and insert and maintain their links.

When a KB article is shared among a group, we have placed a module with a link to the KB article in the left nav pane.

Sometimes we limit access to the module with a role so we don't clutter up the left nav pane for other people.

I am also getting similar questions from our customers. Anybody have any idea whether they are bringing out this feature in the London release?

Haven't gone through the release notes for London yet but if it's in the release you'll find it there.

I would suggest you raise an enhancement request to ServiceNow (via HI) to make them aware of these needs and maybe it will be developed in the future.

I would also like to see this functionality. Nesting favorites would help clean up all the filters I have. Does anyone have an update on this?
